OGDEN PUR LAMINATING LINE for Engineered FlooringSystem consists of:POS 1. PLYWOOD HOPPER FEEDER Plywood boards (two-track or single-track) are loaded vertically into the hopper and push-fed from the hopper into the Roll Coater where the rolls from the Coater take over feeding the plywood. The plywood hopper feeder is centered to the press; adjustments of the fence are via hand crank where both sides of the fence move simultaneously. The hand crank has a digital indicator to assist the operator in the width setup. DRUM MELTER Drum melter melts the glue which is contained in a 55-gallon drum, it pumps the glue out through heated hoses and delivers the glue to the roll coater. The roll coater sends the drum melter signals when to pump glue and when to run the pump off, a signal is sent according to glue level height. POS 3. TOP HEAD PUR ROLL-COATER Roll coater to apply hot melt PUR glue to the top of the Substrate. Roll coater will be equipped with wheel casters in order to move the unit out of the line for cleaning. Touch Screen Control panel for the coater is mounted on the left-hand side when facing the in-feed of the unit. Adjustment of doctor roller will be with hand wheel (not powered) and mechanical digital display in increments of 0.001" in relationship to application roller. Adjustment of the coating roller will be powered and will include a hand wheel with a mechanical digital display in increments of 0.001" Roll coater is equipped with a fume extraction hood which is located above the roll coater.
